When it all Bursts out
Artistic Intervention, 2017
Done at the Santo André Sesc, in São Paulo, When it all Bursts out is an artistic intervention by Joana Lira, curated by Diego Matos, whose main features were three monumental panels. Created in several layers and on various supports, they invited the public to interact in direct dialogue with the unit’s architecture. Additionally, to showcase the artist’s creative process, the showing also included studies, cutouts and sketches. An exhibition on breaking away from life’s molds, prisons and standards.
